Every so often discussions of music gear ends up in IDM, which strictly speaking is off-topic. Rather than be a net-weenie-policeman may I direct your attention to two mailing lists where this sort of discussion is deliriously ON-Topic: Electronica is the perfect place to discuss Kyma, Csound, and other such sundry topics.
